About the Working Group
The City Boy Movement National Working Group, South-East is one of six National Working Groups, one for each geopolitical zone.
CBM NWG South-East is the South-East National Working Group constituted by the Director-General of City Boy Movement under the circular of 24 September 2026. Covering Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo, the Group coordinates with existing CBM structures within its assigned mandate. This website provides information about the Group and an approved record of its activities, engagements and publications.
Background
The circular, titled Constitution of the CBM National Working Groups for Grassroots Mobilisation, Community Engagement, and Membership Expansion, followed the National Working Committee resolution of 23 September 2026 and took effect on 24 September 2026.
It assigns one Working Group to each geopolitical zone and requires each Group to coordinate national support and supervise implementation of grassroots mobilisation, community engagement, membership drive and expansion, and youth orientation, enlightenment, empowerment and development within its territory. The circular places this work within CBM’s national objective of supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Mission
To discharge the Working Group’s authorised South-East mandate through coordination with existing CBM structures, orderly engagement with communities and stakeholders, responsible membership administration, and accurate monitoring and reporting, while documenting approved youth empowerment activities.
